As the lake drains into the Mekong it eventually changes the course of the Sap as the Mekong starts to refill the lake.

I really enjoy your photos.
How much, or better how usually does the river rescede?
What kind of spirits do they have there?

Well I hope to document how far it recedes. I've only always been here during the dry season, Feb thru June. There are no ferries then, just the flat bottom fishing boats. Now they still have big ships and barges plying the river.
By spirits do you mean ghosts? They have a lot of those. For the kind of spirits that I believe in they have beer and wine and the usual cocktails. THEY MAKE WINE FROM SNAKES AND SPIDERS.
Thanks for commenting.
